ReString at Wimbledon 2025

When we were first testing out Zero prototypes back in 2020, we could only dream that we’d see our string being used at a major Grand Slam like Wimbledon.

However, that’s exactly what happened last week.

We watched a reel of our Zero string being prepared for one of the sport's biggest stages.

Myself and Nick spent two days at the tournament primarily to support Cristina Bucsa, a ReString sponsored athlete.

But what started as a support mission turned into a moment of reflection for both of us.

Cristina's Second-Round Match

The first game we saw was Cristina’s second-round match against No. 22 seed and 2024 semifinalist Donna Vekic on Wednesday.

From the coach's box, we watched her dominate with a 6-1, 6-3 victory. She was at the top of her game and controlled every point.

Her Zero strings held up perfectly. Every snap back delivered the spin she needed. Every shot had the bite required to handle grass court tennis at the highest level.

Friday and The Weekend

Friday was the first time Cristina competed in her first-ever third-round match at Wimbledon.

But it was a tough match. She lost her match against Solana Sierra in three sets.

We had to watch this match from afar, but we were incredibly proud of Cristina for getting that far.

Saturday, we returned to Wimbledon ready to support Cristina and her partner, Máximo González, in mixed doubles.

It was yet another moment of pride, watching her trust and compete with ReString gear at one of the sport’s most prestigious stages.

After some great play, the pair eventually lost 6-3, 6-4 to Hsieh Su-wei and Jan Zieliński, meaning Cristina’s tournament came to an end.

Meeting Players and Distributors

Our visit to Wimbledon wasn't just about match results.

We spent time with PH Tennis, our UK distributors, and caught up with Jerome, another ReString-sponsored athlete traveling with Brandon Nakashima.

It was fun to see Jerome use our strings on the practice courts and carrying The ReString Duffle.

Conclusion

Watching our strings perform at Wimbledon was a dream come true.

But the real victory was proving that quality beats big brand names when it counts.

When you string your racket with Zero, you're getting the same performance standards that hold up at the highest level.

We're incredibly grateful for the support from our community and partners who make moments like this possible.

From the players who trust our strings to the distributors who believe in our mission, you're the reason we can compete with tennis giants.

Thank you for being part of this journey.

We can't wait to see you next year at Wimbledon again.
