reString NYC Pop-Up Announcement

We are opening a reString pop-up in New York, and you are invited.

From August 28 through September 1, find us at 223 Mott St, New York, NY 10012.

Doors open at 11am and close at 7pm every day.

Entry is free and there is nothing to book. Walk in whenever suits you.

We are sharing the space with Valldoreix, which is the second time we have collaborated.

There are two main things we have planned for you: Experience and Education.

Experience means hands-on time with our strings and feeling the difference for yourself.

Education means understanding what goes into a reString string and why we’re different.

What Can You Expect at the Pop-Up?

Free reString Strings

Bring your own racket and we will restring it for you with a free string

We only ask that you cover the cost of labour.

All four strings in our lineup are available for stringing: reString Zero, reString Slap, reString Sync, and reString Vivo.

If you already play with a reString string, this is the easiest way you can try other strings in our lineup without buying a set or reel.

Even if you don’t play with a reString string, we are offering free expert consultations.

Tell us what you play with, how you play, and we will point you at the right string for you.

We will be available to string rackets all day, every day we are open.

Meet the reString Team

Both co-founders will be in the space for the full run of the pop-up.

That means you can talk tennis, setups, and strings with the people who built reString.

Meeting you in person is the part of the pop-up we are looking forward to most.

Interactive String Comparison

We will have a variety of rackets on hand for you to pick up and compare.

Some will be strung with our strings and others with competitor strings.

The reason is that reading about specs can only tell you so much. Feeling two strings back to back tells you everything.

It is also the clearest way to see a live demonstration of our Signature Snapback.

Why Did We Choose New York?

For three weeks a year around the US Open, New York becomes the center of tennis.

The city fills up with players, there is excitement for the tournament, and we want to be right in the middle of it.

That’s why we chose New York as the location for our first ever major event.

We waited to do an event like this because we wanted to bring you something worth showing up for.

There are now four strings in our lineup, broad enough that we can confidently recommend the right string to you on the day.

We have also grown as a brand over the past few years.

Our reBrand earlier this year raised the bar on the whole experience, and an in-person event is the natural next step.

Finally, we are weeks away from four years since the reString website launched in September 2022, which makes the timing feel right.

How Can You Attend the Pop-Up?

You can attend the reString NYC Pop-Up just by walking in.

There are no tickets, no booking, and no slots. We'll be open 11am to 7pm from August 28 to September 1, at 223 Mott St, New York, NY 10012.

The invitation is open to anyone in New York that week, whether you have strung with reString before or have never heard of us until now.
