ReString Sync 16G / 1.30 Release

ReString is expanding the Sync lineup with a new 16G / 1.30 gauge option, responding to player demand for increased durability without sacrificing the control and feel Sync is known for.

The thicker 16G gauge joins the existing 17G / 1.25 and 18G / 1.20 options, giving you more flexibility to dial in your ideal setup.

Sync 16G / 1.30 is available now in single sets, 5-packs, and 200m reels.

How Sync 16G / 1.30 Plays

The thicker gauge maintains Sync's signature round profile and slippery coating while adding measurable durability. You get the same excellent control and connection with your shots, now in a gauge that lasts longer between restrings.

This gauge works particularly well for hard hitters, frequent players, or anyone who typically breaks strings within a few sessions. The added thickness extends playability duration without making the stringbed feel boardy or unresponsive.

If you're currently playing 17G / 1.25 and breaking strings too quickly, moving up to 16G / 1.30 can add several extra sessions while keeping the performance characteristics you're used to.

Release Details

Sync 16G / 1.30 is available now. All orders ship from our US facility with free domestic shipping on orders over $60 USD.

The new gauge is fantastic as a full bed. It is also compatible with all existing Sync hybrid setups.

If you play with a Zero and Sync or Vivo and Sync hybrid, you can substitute 16G / 1.30 in the crosses for added durability without changing your playing experience.
